Sonia from Fine Art Faces and Glitter Tattoos came to my son's communion party on 17 May 2015. 18 children attended the party and Sonia looked after each of them patiently and was able to accommodate all of their wishes, whether it be face painting or glitter tattoos. All of the older children opted for glitter tattoos while the little once chose face paint. Needless to say, both parents and children were delighted with Sonia's amazing work. Yes, all face paints used by Fine Art Faces are high quality, water based and FDA/EU approved for use on skin i.e. Snazaroo
We also use non-metallic cosmetic grade glitter, which is safe for use on the face.
We can only paint on children over 3 years old, however, we will paint a small design on the arm/hand of a 2 year old if they wish and are willing to be painted.
For health and safety reasons we can not paint on anyone with an open sore, rash, eye conditions or anyone who appears to be unwell. Of course, a small design can be painted on their hand/arm if requested, so that no one is left out.
Yes, we carry full public liability insurance. A copy of our insurance policy can be viewed upon request.
Glitter Tattoos can be provided as an alternative or as an add-on to any party for an additional fee.
Special rates may be available for non-profit fundraising events.

We will need to know the following details:
A booking form will be sent via email to be completed once date has been agreed.
A non-refundable deposit of 20% will be required to secure the date.
This can be paid via paypal or by cheque.
Balance must be paid in cash on the day.
No problem at all. Just let us know in advance of your chosen theme and we will try to come up with suitable designs e.g. Frozen, superhero, Fairies etc
If a table is not available, we can bring our own fold out table and chairs so all we need is a 3 x 3 foot space to set up. I will arrive 15 minutes early to set up so that I am ready to start at agreed time.
For larger outdoor events, some form of shelter/ shade must be provided. This can be discussed when booking.
All face paints can be easily removed with mild soap and water. Some colours are more pigmented than others and can be a little more stubborn to remove. It is important not to scrub the face, instead re-wash after 30 minutes or use a mild makeup remover.
Glitter Tattoos are designed to last a few days. These are applied using cosmetic glue and glitter, and should withstand normal washing for 3-7 days. They can be removed quicker using baby oil.
